so far we have had over 1000 visitors to the we're rollin; they're hatin' group exhibition at our new space, the co-prosperity sphere, on 3219 s morgan st. it seems the show is a major success in too many ways. many of us version veterans feel this is the best version yet due to the incredible feedback we have been getting from peeps.

this week we are taking version all over the city. it will culminate this weekend with the art war on Friday april 27 and our awesome indy art festival meets freak science fair, the NFO EXPO, at the ZHou B Center on saturday and sunday. If you haven't made it down to the southside yet you might want to make sure you do as there will be two more exhibitions along with the We're rollin' show AND the NFO XPO open all weekend!
so please mark your calendars. go ahead visit the artropolis krunk at he merchandise mart.. but come and see where the real deal is going on in bridgeport, the community of the future, if the future is the apocalypse..

First we will screen the cult Japanese film Funeral Parade of Roses (1969).

Said to be one of Stanley Kubrick‚s favorite films and a big influence
on Clockwork Orange this is probably one of the best films most people have
never seen. Released in 1969 this film is as fresh and shattering as it
must have been back when it was made.

An unconventional network of creators, workers, musicians, organizations, artists, activists, producers and organizers are collectively waging asymmetrical warfare on the established systems of control in our cultural, political and art worlds.

The Insurrection Intenationale is a moment. It is a point of confluence between various networks and subcultures that believe in the solidarity of our multitudes. Together we are waging a revolt against established systems and authority to create new worlds to inhabit. We are creating alternate realities, independent economies, developing alliances and infrastructures to support our beliefs. We are engaging in a culture war against the establishments in all their guises.

This year Version will explore the various networks undermining the forces of stagnation, decay and business as usual. Individuals and groups involved in creating alternative modes of operations, communications and networks of cooperation are gathering at our annual convergence this spring to discover the plausible worlds we can create together.
